Ocean Is Your Friend

A mini game made for Ludum Dare 48

This is a game about captaining a small submarine, finding probes under the ocean, and helping out the ocean research program. I made this game for the LD48 game jam compo. All the elements and mechanics of it were made in 48 hours. I tried to make it look like 8bit console game with a retro vibe.

I tried to keep the aesthetic consistency throughout the game. All of the assets are 2d sprites. It was an experiment to push the gameplay more diverse with minimal outlook. I must mention the overall aesthetic is highly inspired by the famous game developer Lucas Pope
